Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Administrator
Salary: £20,344- £22,911 per annum
37 Hours per week-Temporary fixed term initially for 12 months
Secondment Opportunity, Part time hours available
The team’s Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards responsibilities are about ensuring that vulnerable adults who lack capacity to consent but need to be accommodated under care and treatment regimes that may have the effect of depriving them of their liberty have their best interests protected in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Code of Practice.
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate effective team working skills and a commitment to the work of the section, the work of which is governed by the need to adhere to strict timescales.

This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form.
