Emergency Duty Worker
Salary: £20, 903- £23, 541 per annum (pro rata)
18.5 Hours per week – Permanent
We are looking to recruit to a permanent 18.5 hour per week permanent emergency duty service (eds) call taker post.
The primary role for this post involves the call taker responding to incoming calls and discussing with the eds Team Coordinator on shift to determine whether eds need to respond to the situation as an emergency or whether it can wait until day time teams are back in work.
Eds cover all disciplines of social care referrals, childcare, mental health, adult social care, learning disability, physical disability and substance misuse.
The team are operational 131 hours per week. Staff work a combination of evening shifts, overnight shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
The post is Grade 6 pus 20% shift allowance.
