LIBRARY ASSISTANT - CANNOCK LIBRARY
Salary: £18,887 -£19,294 per annum (pro rata)
12.5 Hours Average per week – Permanent includes weekend working
About the role
Do you want to work in the valued community setting of a library? In this customer facing role, you will be dealing with customers either face to face, via email or by telephone to help answer day to day library enquiries.
With a high standard of customer service, you will help us to provide a range of services that support the delivery of the library offer, including the provision of information and activities. You will help people to access the full range of library resources and will contribute to people’s positive experience of using our service.

What you’ll bring
The post holder will be based Cannock Library but may be required to work at other branch libraries. The library is open daily Monday to Saturday.
The successful candidates would work 12.5 hours a week average including weekend working.
Week 1 –
Monday 9.00 – 14.00 = 5hrs
Wednesday 9.00-17.00 = 7hrs = 12hrs
Week 2 –
Wednesday 9.00-17.00 = 7hrs
Saturday 9.00-16.00 = 6 hrs = 13hrs
