On-Site Supervisor, Libraries & Arts – based at Burton Library
Salary: £19 171 - £20 344 per annum
37 Hours per week – Permanent
Working to a timetable, which includes a pattern of alternate Saturdays on public duty.
We are looking for a person with a passion for communicating the strengths of the library offer, leading a team to deliver it, and welcoming participation from community partners. You will want to commit to training and supporting staff and volunteers to contribute to the efficient running and effective delivery of services in the library. Burton Library is a busy town-centre facility, which shares premises with the Register service, and hosts an independent café.
About the role
You will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the library.
You will work with colleagues to ensure services are developed and enhanced.
You will have specific Premises Management and Health and Safety responsibilities.
