Laboratory Technician
Salary: £20,903- £23,541 per annum
37 Hours per week – Permanent
The Highways Laboratory at Staffordshire County Council is looking to recruit a Laboratory Technician working as part of the team to deliver a specialist highway materials testing service. The Highway Laboratory services will be managed and delivered through a Strategic Partnership with Amey LG as part of Infrastructure+.
The applicant must have 2 GCSE’s (grade C or above) in Maths and English. The role of a Laboratory Technician is to carry out materials testing both inside and outside the Laboratory in order to deliver the requirements of the service.
The Highways Technical Service group sits in the Economy Infrastructure and Skills, Highways and the Built County. The Highways Laboratory plays a key role in supporting this function.
